* * * STEP 1 * * *

 

An electronic version of the documents listed below should be sent directly to Mrs. Marta Sikorska-Rokita at msikorska@wsiz.rzeszow.pl by Erasmus students or their home coordinator:

 

  • Application Form 2013/2014
  • CV - English version (you can use Europass CV form)
  • ID card (EU member states) / Scan of valid passport (other countries)
  • Transcript of Records obtained in previous years of study (each incoming student must obtain a positive grade/mark from previous years of study at home university; GPA at least 2.20)

 

Application documents should be sent between:

  • June 03, 2013 - July 30, 2013 – by students who wish to start studies in the Fall semester;
  • October 06, 2013 - December 08, 2013  – by students who wish to start studies in the Spring semester.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

UITM offers only one-semester stay under Erasmus Programme. It is not possible to extend the student’s stay.

 

 

* * * STEP 2 * * *

 

Both Erasmus student and their home coordinator should prepare the study programme for exchange semester, i. e. Learning Agreement 2013/2014, and sent its electronic version to UITM before:

  • August 15, 2013 – by students who wish to start studies in the Fall semester;
  • January 15, 2014 – by students who wish to start studies in the Spring semester.

 

After that,  the home coordinator is obliged to send by regular post two copies of Learning Agreement duly signed by him/her and the student to the address given below:

* * * STEP 3 * * *

 

After reviewing all application documents and final acceptance, UITM Coordinator sends Letters of Acceptance/Invitation to partner university for a group of students incoming to UITM.

 

 

* * * STEP 4 * * *

 

Each coming Erasmus student must inform UITM Erasmus Coordinator (and a Mentor student as well) about the details of arrival to Rzeszow (date, time and place)! To fullfill this obligation, please fill in  the "Arrival Form" and send it to msikorska@wsiz.rzeszow.pl before January 24, 2014.

 

Please remember, that Erasmus students are expected to participate in the "Erasmus Welcome Days" before the start of each semester.

 

No TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) certificate is required. However, Erasmus students should have at least an intermediate command of English (at least B2 level according to CEFR) to be able to follow lectures and take exams!

Erasmus students are welcomed to attend a free of charge course of Polish. The course is run during the whole academic year at three levels of proficiency: absolute beginner, intermediate and advanced.

No enrolment fees are charged for Erasmus students!

 

 


 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

 

Erasmus students who are coming for the Spring semester 2013/2014 are obliged to arrive to Rzeszow between 17 - 19 February 2014 (between 09:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m.). ONLY during those days a pick-up service will be organized from Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport or Central Railway Station in Rzeszow (please see the details how to get to  Rzeszow here).

 

All Erasmus students are expected to praticipate in the

 

"Erasmus Welcome Days"

 

which take place at the UITM between

 

20 - 21 February 2014

 

 

During those days Erasmus incoming students will attend integration session, hold meetings with International Relations Unit staff, be offered information sessions on UITM services and they go on a guided tour around the UITM campuses and the city of Rzeszow, among other things.
