How to get to Rzeszów?

We run a meet and greet pick up service to

welcome you to Rzeszów and UITM!

 


As an Erasmus student coming for the Spring semester 2013/2014 are obliged to arrive to Rzeszow between 17 - 19 February 2014 (bewteen 09:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m.). ONLY during those days a pick-up service will be organized from Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport or Central Railway Station in Rzeszow (please see the details how to get to Rzeszow here).

 

All Erasmus students are expected to praticipate in the "Erasmus Welcome Days" which take place at the UITM between 20 - 21 February 2014.

 

During those days you will attend intergation session, hold meetings with International Relations Units staff, be offered information sessions on UITM services and go on a tour around the UITM and the city of Rzeszow, among other things.

 

 

 

You must remember to contact via e-mail with the UITM Erasmus Programme Coordinator or your Mentor student to set the details according to your arrival (date, time and place) and pick up service at the Rzeszow Central Railway Station (PKP) or at the Rzeszów - Jasionka Airport.

After arrival to Poland, it is advisable to buy a Polish SIM card for your mobile (starters cost approx. 5 - 20 PLN). It will help you to contact easily and cheaply with your Mentor student.


Your flight connections: 

 

  • You can choose also Warsaw – Fryderyk Chopin Airport as your final destination. In this case you can use a taxi or the Municipal Bus Service (ZTM) – LINE 175 to get to Warsaw Central Railway Station (Dworzec  Warszawa – Centralna) and take a direct train to Rzeszow. You can also go to the Warsaw West Bus Station (about 40 minutes trip from the airport) and take a public bus or take a private bus (leaves from the parking place in front of the Bus Station) called "NEOBUS" or "LUNABUS" or "POLSKI BUS"
     
  • If you arrive at John Paul II International Airport  Cracow  - Balice you can use a taxi or the Municipal Transport Company (MPK S.A.) to get to Cracow Central Railway Station. Two regular bus lines: 208 and 292 and one night line: 902 are served by MPK S.A. You can also use the train service which is provided by PKP Przewozy Regionalne. This fast railway line will take you to the centre of Cracow within 16 minutes.
